A Little Chilly in Canada
Sunday, December 14, 2008

I'm trying to hammer thru some online Christmas shopping, but I thought I'd drop you all a quick line.

I've been racing in Canada for about a week. I've raced 2 downhills and a SG in Lake Louise and finished 27th in both downhills and 11th in the SG, which is a decent start. My speed wasn't quite what I was hoping for, but tomorrow we have one of two Super G races on more of a GS hill so that should help. We're at Panorama right now and it's terribly cold. This morning we were on the lift for some slalom training and Sam's zipper thermometer read -18 degrees Fahrenheit (apparently tomorrow will be colder). We're here for four days of racing and I'm psyched to be racing some GS at the end of the week.

Hopefully better news will be on the feed soon. Hope all is well, w
