So we’re off to slow start on finishes. The last two days I ended up blowing out in both slaloms at Loveland, but there is a glimmer of hope. For the first time in over a year I actually felt balanced on my slalom skis. I was able to get really good ankle flexion, bend my skis up before the gate and keep a very rounded contained back and upper body. I really haven’t felt that balanced since I was on Fischer skis two years ago so we’re definitely making some headway.

The next two days I will bring the same focus into two more slaloms at Winter Park. I will start finishing in slalom soon.

As for right now, we’re ripping over to Beaver Creek to pick up a pair of Bode’s SG skis for Panorama that are a little too soft for him, which is huge. They are rockets. I helped the Head guys test Bode’s SG skis a couple weeks ago here at Copper and they were exceptional skis.

Hope you’re all doing well. Gotta run, w
