Back to GS
Monday, December 03, 2007

All of our bags arrived at noon on Saturday from their various overnight locations so we took off to Are, Sweden. Upon arrival we saw a bunch of racers milling around the hotel right at the mountain and heard the race was postponed for a 7:00 PM second run due to wind. They ended up canceling the race so we didn't miss a thing. Thanks SAS.

Yesterday, I blew out first run and Roger ended up finishing in 34th with a solid second run. After the race, I was able to get some decent GS training on the slalom race hill before we began our 9 hour drive to Norway. We just arrived in Aal, Norway to get our skis ready and get fired up for some GS tomorrow and the next day. Hopefully the piste will be good with all the snow over here.

Hope you're all doing well, w
